Human Resources Management guarantees that an organization
runs smoothly. The process begins with developing the appropriate policies for
the work requirements and concludes with assuring the company's continued
performance. As a result, HRM is an unseen force that connects all areas of an
organization to ensure seamless progress

7 Functions of the Human Resources Department
HR plays a significant role in the organization. Recruitment,
performance management, learning and development, and many others are among
them.
I would like to list down the 12 Key functions of HR and briefly explain a few of them.
2.1 Human
resource planning
Human resource planning (HRP) is a continuous process of
systematic planning ahead to ensure that an organization's most important
asset—quality employees—is used to its full potential. Human resource planning
ensures that personnel and occupations are a good fit while avoiding manpower
shortages or surpluses
2.2 Recruitment
and selection
The process of attracting suitable individuals for a job role
is called recruitment, and the process of identifying and selecting the best
candidate for that job is called selection
2.3 Performance
Management
In human resource management, performance management is
crucial. It is utilized to establish a work atmosphere that encourages
employees to provide their best effort and produce high-quality work
2.4 Learning
and Development
This human resource management role assists employees in
acquiring the skills and information they need to execute their jobs
effectively. Both new and existing staff are given training and growth
opportunities. Training and development equip employees for higher-level
responsibility
2.5 Career
Planning
As an HR function, career planning is an effort to track and
work an existing employee's progress so that he can be promoted within the
company. Within an organization, companies can discover bright and prospective
workers and seek to enhance their career paths
